FyVue is run by FY ADVERTISEMENT PTE. LTD. (UEN 202201831W) in Singapore. This page says what we collect when you use FyVue, why, who helps us process it and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Your account. Your name, work email and password, stored only as a salted hash we can't read. If you sign in with Google, we get your name, email and Google account ID from Google, never your Google password.
- Your brand. Your website, the questions you track, your brand facts, the rivals and partners you list, the pages and drafts you make, and what you type to Yue, your assistant.
- Your team. The names and emails of teammates you invite.
- Billing. Your plan, your invoices and the last four digits and brand of your card. The card itself, and any billing address you give at checkout, go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Use of the product. Sign-ins, the steps you take (for example “first check finished” or “plan chosen”), and technical logs such as IP address and browser, kept to run the service, stop abuse and fix faults.
- Free website checks. The address of the site checked, the email you give for the report, and your IP address, so one person can't run endless free checks.
We don't buy personal data, we don't sell it, and we don't use advertising cookies or trackers.
Why we use it
- To run FyVue: track your questions, check your website, write drafts and show your results.
- To send the emails the product sends, such as your weekly results, receipts and password resets. Each of the weekly results and tips emails has a link to stop them.
- To bill you and keep the records the law requires.
- To keep accounts safe, stop abuse and fix faults.
- To improve the product from overall patterns of use. We don't train AI models on your brand's data.
Our team may look at your account to help you when you ask, or to fix a fault. On the Managed plan, our team works in your account as agreed with you.
The AI engines we ask
To measure how AI recommends your brand, we send your tracked questions, and the brand and category facts needed to judge the answers, to the AI engines on your plan. Some are run by United States companies: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Google's AI Mode and AI Overviews (fetched for us by DataForSEO), Claude (Anthropic) and Perplexity. Others are run by Chinese companies, reached through their international services or through BytePlus, ByteDance's cloud: Doubao (ByteDance), Qwen (Alibaba Cloud), DeepSeek, Yuanbao (Tencent Cloud), Kimi (Moonshot AI) and GLM (Zhipu AI). Asking China-facing engines is part of what FyVue is for.
These questions are about your brand and your market. We don't put your name, your email or your teammates' details in them. Please don't type personal data about other people into tracked questions or brand facts. Yue, your drafts and the analysis of the answers run on Claude (Anthropic), so what you type to Yue, and your name so Yue can greet you, are processed by Anthropic.
Who processes data for us
We use these providers. Each one gets only what it needs for its job and is bound to protect it:
- Vercel: hosts the website and portal (United States).
- Neon: our managed Postgres database, which stores account and brand data.
- Stripe: takes card payments and keeps payment records.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Google: Google sign-in, if you use it.
- The AI engines listed above, BytePlus for some of them, and DataForSEO for Google's answers and search data.
- PostHog: product-use analytics on the steps above, if we turn it on.
Some of these providers process data outside Singapore. When they do, we make sure the data gets protection comparable to the PDPA, through the provider's contract terms.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and a referral cookie that remembers who invited you so they get their credit. Both are needed for the product to work, so there's no cookie banner. We don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we cancel any plan and delete the account, its sign-ins and its brand data within 30 days. Invoices and payment records are the exception: Singapore law requires us to keep them for five years, so they stay, no longer linked to an account. Server logs are kept for a few weeks at most.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your data in the portal. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your account. To do any of these, legal@fyvue.ai. We reply within 30 days. If you withdraw consent for something the service needs, we may no longer be able to provide the service.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Access to customer data inside our company is limited to the people who need it. If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will tell you and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
Children
FyVue is a business tool for brands. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account owners before the change takes effect. For questions, or to reach our Data Protection Officer, legal@fyvue.ai. Using FyVue is also governed by our Terms of Service.
